When You Need Help for Yourself or Someone You Care About

• for help dealing with a bully or cyberbully
• for guidance with a child in a potentially abusive situation
• if they have a problem with or question about child abuse and neglect, bullying, Internet safety, friendships, sexual harassment or date/acquaintance rape

We receive questions from students who have participated in our prevention-through-education classroom programs on Long Island as well as kids from around the world who find us online.  Teachers, parents, grandparents, caretakers and adults who care also utilize the Helpline for guidance, suggestions and referrals.

The Helpline are confidential and e-mails are answered during CAPS business hours by professionals with expertise in bullying, child abuse, child development and child safety issues.

We urge you to call 911 or your local police department, if you believe that a child is in immediate danger.

Call the child abuse hotline in your state, if you suspect a child has been abused or neglected.
