The Internet has changed how children communicate with one another. Today’s youth are no longer tied to their home computer. With mobile and wireless devices, they have access to the web anytime, anywhere. Children can become victims of sexual abuse, harassment and/or exploitation via the Internet without ever meeting their abusers. This is why addressing Internet safety is an increasingly important part of efforts to prevent child abuse and we offer cyberSMARTZ to grade 5 and SurfSafe! to grades 6-9 students.
